Psalm 23 King James Version - Size: 3 3/8 x 3 3/8

Memory Cross has created a very unique card to teach Psalm 23. With four panels that make a endless loop it is sure to capture children's attention and by breaking the verses down into four sections it makes learning Psalm 23 easier.

Helping children develop the habit of memorizing Scripture is something that has a huge payoff. God's Word can keep us on the right path and away from so many things that cause pain and suffering in our lives. Psalm 23 is one of the best known chapters of the Bible and it has a lot of applications both for living our lives and finding comfort in times of sorrow.

Rick Warren in the Purpose Driven Life listed the benefits of memorizing Bible verses as follows:

  • Resist temptation
  • Make wise decisions
  • Reduce Stress
  • Build confidence
  • Offer good advice
  • Share your faith
That's a pretty good gift to give kids. We have individual Scripture cards for your Sunday School class and Scripture Memory packs that help children learn a lot of different verses. Blank Scripture memorization cards are also available. Kids can break the verse down into four sections and print them on the card. You'll find they learn verses faster than ever before. No matter how you do it, helping children memorize Scripture will pay a dividend that lasts a lifetime.

We've put together a video that shows how each Memory Cross card folds and some of the benefits of Scripture Memorization.

Engaging children is important!

Thank you for your folding version of this well known Psalm. It allows the children to experience the Scripture directly, in a "hands-on" manner and to use it repeatedly. It engages their attention, making the verses more meaningful than just hearing the words. I distributed this handout during a children's talk about Psalm 23.
