Spanish Jesus Lives Bible Story Card - 12 Per Pack

This continues the Easter story from the resurrection to Jesus' ascension.  The wording for each panel in English is listed below.

Panel 1: After Jesus rose from the dead, he appeared at the empty tomb to Mary Magdalene. Mary did not recognize Jesus until He said her name.  He told her to go to His disciples with the news that He was alive. Mark 16: 9-11 and John 20: 11-18

Panel 2: On that same day, Jesus appeared to two believers on the road to Emmaus, but they did not recognize Him.  As they walked along, Jesus explained what Moses and the Prophets had foretold about what the Messiah would go through before He returned to Heaven.  The two men invited Him to stay and have dinner.  When He gave thanks for the food, their eyes were opened, and they realized that Jesus the Messiah had been with them all along.

Panel 3: After Mary Magdalene had told the disciples that she had seen Jesus, He appeared to them where they were gathered.  When the other disciples told Thomas they had seen Jesus, he did not believe them.

Thomas said he would only believe when he saw Jesus himself and the nail marks on his hands. A week later Jesus came to the disciples again and greeted Thomas.  Thomas was in awe, but he did believe.  Jesus is alive!  John 20: 19-31

Panel 4: Before Jesus returned to Heaven to sit at the Father's right hand, He told them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded.  And surely I am with you to the very end of the age." Matthew 28: 16-20, Mark 16: 19-20, and Luke 24: 44-53

Frequently asked questions

• What size is the card?  It measures 6 x 6 inches, which we have found to be the best size for smaller hands.
• How sturdy is the card?  It is made of a 100 lb premium uncoated cover, a little thicker than a deck of cards.  In tests this size card has held up to hundreds of folds, however, they are made of paper so they can be torn apart as with any paper product.  Depending on the age of the children receiving the card, folding it once before handing it to them can be helpful.  This is especially true if you use the card with three or 4-year-olds.
• How long does it take to arrive?  We usually ship orders the same day and deliver in 1-5 days to anywhere in the United States.  Outside the US, it varies widely.  Australia and Europe take 7-10 days for delivery.
