Have a favorite picture that you would like laser engraved? We can probably do it.
How is it done?
We take the picture you send us, convert it to a line drawing, remove the excess details and engrave it onto the oyster shell. Watch the video below for examples. If it is a picture that other people might be interested in, like a lighthouse, beach scene, etc. and you give us permission to make it available to others we will refund you the $25 dollar custom design fee. We will let you know if your picture qualifies.
Note: Pictures that work best are ones with strong lines and not a lot of detail. Pictures that don't work are pets. In the Spring of 2026 we expect to have a color printer capable of putting images directly onto the oyster shells but presently pets do not laser engrave onto oyster shells well.
How long does it take?
It generally takes a week from the time you place your order. November through December may require additional processing time.
What can I put on it?
You can put just about anything you want on it. Pictures of nautical scenes are popular, but you can do a picture of your family or a scene work.
How do I get the image to you?
Upload your image below and we will take it from there. We can send you a picture of the converted line art but generally we will not send you a picture of the final product before shipping.
