How Churches Can Use Facebook Local Advertising to Promote Their Trunk-or-Treat or Fall Festival

Fall is one of the best times for churches to connect with their community. Families are already looking for safe, fun, family-friendly events, and a Trunk-or-Treat or Fall Festival checks every box. The challenge is simple: how do you let people know about it?

Word of mouth, flyers, and signs still work, but if you want to reach the families who live right around your church, Facebook local advertising is one of the most effective (and affordable) tools you can use. Here’s how to do it step by step.

God – Your GPS for Life

God – Your GPS for Life

I still remember the first time I used a GPS years ago. It was incredible. No more folding paper maps, guessing at exits, or stopping at gas stations to ask for directions. Teaching Kids the Lord’s Prayer: More Than Memorizing Words

This week, I had the opportunity to help teach our 1st through 5th graders the Lord’s Prayer.  As I spend time preparing and thinking about a lesson it always seems like I learn more than the kids.  Today was no exception.

As I prepared the lesson, I realized that while there are countless resources for helping kids memorize the Lord’s Prayer, there’s very little to help them actually understand what it means.

That got me thinking: Did Jesus want us to just memorize these words—or did He give us this prayer as a blueprint for our relationship with God?
